The Leopoldstraße and the Münchner Freiheit dominate this part of Munich. Small but famous theatres like the "Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft“ are situated close to Münchner Freiheit, a well known square in Schwabing. If one is heading from Münchner Freiheit towards the Englischer Garten the atmosphere will change. In the small district Altschwabing one could imagine to be in a romantic little village.
Freiman is the contrary to Schwabing. The business park Freimann together with the Euro-Industriepark and the Munich Order Center (M O C) give this part of Munich an industrial shape. Furthermore the BMW group is well represented in Freiman. Also the civic waste deposit and the sewage plant are located in this area.
One positive highlight for people who live in this part of Munich is the short distance to the famous football stadium Allianz Arena in Fröttmaning.
