Neue Pinakothek (New Art Gallery)
Right opposite Alte Pinakothek there is the Neue Pinakothek (new art gallery) where works of the 19th and 20ieth century are presented. Neue Pinakothek was opened in 1853 and comprises more than 6000 objects. Only since 1915 it belongs to Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlung.
