Geologisches Museum (Geological Museum)
On about 450 square meters the part of the Geological Museum in Munich that is publicly available (the state collection of general and applied geology) shows the development of the planet earth. A special feature is the formation of the Alps and the development of fossil fuel. This collection is one of five research institutions of the natural scientific collection in Bavaria.
