Münchner Kaiserburg im Alten Hof
The castle of the emperor (Kaiserburg) is situated in the old courtyart (Alter Hof). It is also the central museum and castle info point of Bavaria (infopoint museen & schlösser in Bayern). Since May 2007 there is a permanent exhibition “the castle of the emperor (Kaiserburg)”, a multimedia presentation about the old courtyard and the history of the city of Munich. It opens Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6pm and admission is free of charge.
